Summary

For generators, gensets and UPS, output power and loading capability tests are crucial in acceptance inspection, performance analysis and replacement decisions — but operating the tester and analysing the results is difficult for most users.

The 380ACLB series intelligent AC dummy load provides a scientific and convenient way to check power supply devices. Using intelligent control technology it performs loading, discharging and parameter measurement simultaneously; after the test the PC analysis software creates the data report automatically. It is widely used for high-power UPS, inverters and diesel generators in telecommunications, power utilities, airports and similar industries.

Features

Steady-state test: automatically measures 3-phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, run time and total energy.
Transient-state test: creates loading dips and drops from preset power values, measures the maximum and minimum voltage, current and frequency of each phase during the dips, and calculates power and power factor per phase.
Setting test: increases the load in proportional steps up to maximum power and then decreases it in steps, measuring maximum and minimum voltage, current, frequency, 3-phase power and power factor at every step.
Fluctuation test: increases the load in proportional steps up to maximum power and measures the maximum and minimum voltage, current, frequency, 3-phase power and power factor.
Harmonics analysis: analyses current and voltage 2 – 20 THD (total harmonic distortion) in each phase.
