Summary

Battery discharge testing is still the most accurate and reliable method for evaluating the actual capacity of a battery group, because only constant current discharge can perfectly simulate the working status of the batteries under load.

Because DC power systems in industrial utilities use different battery voltage levels (24 V, 48 V, 110 V, 120 V, 220 V, 240 V), the 110LB120-T is built as an unattended, automatic instrument with intelligent stop points and wide voltage variability for almost all battery types.

Features

  • Wide range: supports 10 – 280 V battery groups (240/220 V at 60 A; 120/110 V, 96 V, 48 V, 24 V at 120 A; 12 V at 60 A).
  • 5.7 inch touch LCD displays all real-time data and graphs and supports direct click operation.
  • 4 adjustable stop points: group low voltage 0 – 280.0 V, discharge time 0 – 99 h 99 min, discharge capacity 0 – 9999 Ah, cell low voltage 0 – 15.00 V.
  • 3 discharge modes: constant current 0 – 120 A, constant power 0 – 18 kW, constant resistance 0.16 Ω – ∞.
  • Optional wireless modules monitor cell voltages during the test; each module monitors 4 batteries simultaneously.
  • Presetting function stores 8 sets of discharge parameters in advance to speed up repeat tests.
  • Non-volatile internal memory keeps records safe even on unexpected shutdown; review, delete or download via USB disk or RS232.
  • Extendable: with a current clamp the 110LB120-T works together with other EDPN LB-T units or external load units.
