Start-Up & Commissioning
Commissioning
Onshore and offshore commissioning — EDPN verifies settings, protection, transfer behaviour and battery integration against the design, not just that the system energises.
Energising a system proves it switches on. Commissioning proves the system as installed matches the system as designed, and that it will behave correctly on the day it is actually needed.
EDPN checks incoming supply and earthing, verifies parameter settings and protection thresholds, tests transfer and bypass behaviour under load, confirms battery connection, polarity and charging regime, and records the as-commissioned values.
EDPN commissions both onshore and offshore. Offshore work is carried out by engineers holding OPITO-approved T-BOSIET and TFOET certification, on FPSOs, wellhead platforms and drilling units as well as refineries, power plants and substations.
The result is a signed commissioning record that becomes the reference point for every later maintenance visit and warranty claim.
